V&A PATTERN: This Spitalfields travel line is based on the beautiful designs created for the silk industry in London's East End, held in the V&A collection. It draws inspiration from an astonishing design from about 1719 created by Huguenot master weaver and designer, James Leman (1688–1745). Reinvented and hand-painted in the Cabin Zero studio, the large stylised floral evokes a feeling of escapism with its rich foliage and exotic elements based on the 18th century taste for artefacts imported from the East Indies, China and India.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    SPECIFICATIONS: Weight: 310 g / 0 lb 11 ounces.
